Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Systems Engineer to join our Gaming Environment team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our dynamic gaming environment and platform.

The successful candidate will work closely with gaming developers, software testers, and other teams within software development to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability of our global-scale systems.

This role is instrumental in providing timely and effective incident triage, platform operations, proactive maintenance, and performance analysis and capacity management.

The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Triage and resolve critical incidents
  • Perform system performance analysis, capacity planning, and monitoring checks
  • Support release management activities
  • Provision new platforms and create automated workflows
  • Coordinate system changes and operations, including OS patching and upgrades
  • Troubleshoot server-related issues or hardware faults
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a development or technical support role
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience liaising across technical domains
