">We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As part of our Capital Engineering Delivery Team, you will be responsible for leading other mechanical engineers, providing advice and guidance, and delivering engineering and design tasks within assigned areas.
">Key Responsibilities
">- Lead delivery of engineering and design tasks within assigned areas
">- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers
">- Interface with other disciplines, both technical and non-technical
">- Estimate and plan mechanical engineering tasks
">- Support the Engineering Manager in ensuring that requirements are correct and adequate
">Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you will need:
">- A Degree, HND/HNC or an equivalent vocational qualification in an engineering discipline, supported by considerable practical experience
">- Experience of preparing technical reports and documentation
">- Awareness of Destructive and Non-destructive testing techniques for product certification and through-life monitoring
">- Good written, verbal and presentation skills
