Job Description

Daytime Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Care Manager to oversee the development and delivery of a high-quality private domiciliary care service in the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director to coordinate the development of a premium care service for older individuals.
  • Manage two services, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client experiences.
  • Act as the Registered Manager, overseeing the regulated activity for the office and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with the local community to promote awareness of the service.
  • Promote the highest standards of care and service, aligning with the Home Instead ethos and values.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team of Care Professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Convert new client enquiries into successful engagements and coordinate staffing rotas to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Conduct thorough care planning and risk assessments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Lead a team, ensuring exceptional service delivery, effective workload management, and a positive work culture.
  • Ensure the successful operation of quality control systems and conduct quality assurance visits for clients, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Review and refine processes regularly to maintain the most effective and efficient service delivery.
  • Effectively manage complaints and incidents, using findings to drive improvement initiatives and maintain a positive work culture.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and commercial business acumen.
  • Strong planning and organisational skills, with the ability to cope with pressure and change.
  • A clear enhanced DBS certificate, a clean driving license, and acceptance as a Registered Manager by the CQC.
  • Ability to develop and maintain quality control systems and a strong knowledge of the Care Standards regulations.
  • Capacity to create and maintain administrative systems, recruit, select, and supervise a dispersed workforce, and establish effective working relationships.
