We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our team at Park View (Alton Day Services) on a weekend basis. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to engage in meaningful activities and promote their independence.
As a Care and Support Worker, you will work closely with colleagues to provide person-centred support, helping individuals with daily living tasks, communication, and social interaction. You will also have the opportunity to develop and implement personalized activity plans, promoting inclusion and fun for our service users.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support and care to individuals with complex needs, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement personalized activity plans.
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as eating, drinking, and personal care.
- Encourage social interaction and community engagement.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full driving licence and willingness to drive Hampshire County Council vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a comprehensive induction programme, providing you with the training and support you need to excel in this role. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, making a real difference in the lives of our service users.
