Auto Body Language Limited T/A ABL 1Touch is seeking an experienced Automotive Panel Refinisher to join our team in Croydon. As a skilled professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the repair of motor vehicles meets industry standards.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of bodywork technicians in stripping and refitting vehicle components, including adjustment and panel alignment. They will also report any defects or damage linked to associated jobs, observe and report on vehicle structure and paintwork, and ensure vehicles comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of bodywork technicians in motor vehicle repairs.
  • Strip and refit vehicle components, including adjustment and panel alignment.
  • Report any defects or damage linked to associated jobs.
  • Observe and report on vehicle structure and paintwork.
  • Ensure vehicles comply with safety standards.
  • Remove and store vehicle components, fluids, and gases safely.
  • Quality control all repairs and provide final sign-off.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role.
  • Motor manufacturers qualifications and experience.
  • Undertake training courses as required.
  • Current AOM009 welding certificate or equivalent.
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude, flexible and responsible.

Salary: Up to £55K per annum (OTE)
