We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Events Marketing Manager to join our team at Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) - D67. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing event marketing strategies that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owning and managing all elements of an event from conception to measurement, including strategy, project management, vendor negotiation and management, production, event registration, data gathering/reporting, evaluations, speaker engagement, and cross-functional partnering.
  • Demonstrating high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously, creating a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to influence at multiple levels without authority, thriving in an ambiguous environment and making decisions autonomously.
  • Exhibiting ability to stay calm under pressure, resilient to setbacks, and passionate about customers and creating memorable experiences.
  • Moving easily between generating big, creative ideas to driving process improvement, to executing event details and administration.
  • Analytical, with experience identifying and interpreting data to make business recommendations, and partnering effectively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex and highly visible projects, with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PPT, and ability to travel domestically & internationally and work across time zones.

Requirements

  • 6+ years' experience owning and scaling events, with experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership, using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data, and experience in marketing or marketing research.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements, presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership, and owning and managing all elements of an event from conception to measurement.
