The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior or Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to delivering high-quality design solutions for various Data Centres and Mission Critical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing mechanical engineering systems at the highest level using the latest software design packages.
  • Leading mechanical services design on large projects and taking the overall lead on small to medium-sized projects within the office.
  • Mainly focusing on the Data Centre and Mission Critical sector.
  • Leading the development of initial strategic concepts for projects ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards.
  • Taking responsibility for solid technical delivery in your work either alone or as part of a team.
  • Being financially astute and working with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered.
  • Creating and maintaining a high reputation within the local industry and ensuring adherence to QM and risk control procedures.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or Building Services Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in Mission Critical and Data Centre projects is desirable for this role.
  • Proficient in the latest computer modelling design software such as Revit and BIM is desirable for this role.
