We are currently seeking a Care Support Assistant to join our team at our client's home based in Andover.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to our male client who has locked-in syndrome within his own home.

This role involves assisting with personal care, hoisting, and helping the client get ready for the day during morning shifts (9am-10.30am).

In the afternoon, you will drive the client in his own car out to places of his choosing in the community, such as shopping, parks, and other daily tasks.

Please note that applicants interested in the afternoon shifts must have a valid full UK driving license and be comfortable driving an assisted vehicle.

No previous experience is required, as full training, shadow shifts, and ongoing support from the Care Manager will be provided.

About You:

  • You will have a kind and caring nature, flexibility, and reliability.
  • You will possess good communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with clients and their families.
