About the Role

Fusion People Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Mobile Digital Installation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a leading supplier of specialist GPS solutions and a national supplier of self-drive operated plant, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting the Digital Division with the installation of Trimble Earthworks, GCS900, and Leica MC1 machine control systems on-site for customers or in one of the depots situated around the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and fit wiring harnesses to pre-approved specifications on customer sites
  • Calibrate harnesses to ensure optimal performance
  • Weld and fabricate sensor brackets and mast mounts to meet manufacturer specifications
  • Install human form recognition cameras, height and slew restrictors, and other innovative solutions as required
Requirements
  • Full driving license
  • Sound knowledge of auto-electrical and mechanical systems
  • Experience with digital machine control systems, including Trimble Earthworks and Leica MC1
  • Previous experience in setting up and calibrating excavators and dozers
  • High standard of welding and fabrication skills, including hot works
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams
  • Understanding of risk assessments and method statements
