Electrical Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our team at Home Group. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of electricians to deliver a customer-focused, compliant service.
  • Ensure all works are completed to the highest standards, within budget, and in line with our service standards.
  • Manage health and safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory and health and safety standards.
  • Successfully manage internal teams and sub-contractors in delivering on our customer promise.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in construction or strong equivalent operational experience.
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor holding IET wiring regulations, 18th Edition, and inspection and testing 2391 or equivalent.
  • Time served in electrical installation.
  • SMSTS or equivalent health and safety qualification and experience managing the health and safety of a direct workforce and contractors.
  • Experience of managing construction teams, including electrical and compliance, successfully delivering work programmes within time and budget, driving performance, productivity, and quality.
  • Experience of building regulations, electrical installations, and materials, and confident working to specifications and contracts.
  • A full current driving licence, as you will be provided with a company van for business use and commuting.
