Abbott is a world leader in glucose monitoring, and we're seeking a talented Senior Scientist Team Lead to drive innovation in our ADC product range. This key role will provide technical expertise and leadership, collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide.
We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in analytical techniques, particularly HPLC and GC-MS. Your input will be instrumental in developing suitable quantitative analytical techniques to support new product development and transfer, on-market product improvement programs, and investigative activities.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, from small-scale laboratory environments to large-volume manufacturing settings, and early-stage feasibility projects. You'll lead technical teams in test method development and transfer activities through scientific experimentation, using varied analytical chemistry techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with prior technical management and leadership experience. Experience working in a regulated GLP/GMP environment is highly desirable. In addition to a competitive salary ( £68,000 - £85,000 per annum), we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a defined-contribution pension scheme, share ownership scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, and flexible benefits scheme.
