Job Title: Group Leader, Risk Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader, Risk Management to join our team at Step By Step Nursery.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of nursery staff, ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care. This will involve working closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager to maintain high standards of childcare and risk management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare.
  • Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care.
  • Work closely with the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager to maintain high standards of childcare and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations, including the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and carers, ensuring they are informed and involved in their child's care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, ensuring they are effective and up-to-date.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized Early Years qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience of working in a nursery or childcare setting, with a focus on risk management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the EYFS and relevant legislation.
