Year 3 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 3 teacher to join our vibrant and fun primary school in Slough. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About the Role

As a Year 3 teacher, you will be responsible for the pastoral care of our students, promoting teamwork, and creating a conducive learning environment. You will teach the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on individual learning targets, and encouraging strengths while improving weaknesses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
  • Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
  • Keeping track of children's progress and reporting back to parents

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant qualifications (Experienced teachers as well as ECTs are welcome to apply)
  • Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2
  • The confidence to hit the ground running, proactively lead a class, and manage behaviour in line with school behaviour policies
