Principal Clinical Scientist – Radiotherapy Expert

Job Summary
The IPEM is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Scientist to join our Radiotherapy Physics Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide scientific support and expertise in the development of on-treatment imaging in Radiotherapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide highly specialist scientific and technical advice on the safe and effective delivery of external beam radiotherapy treatments.
- Act as a Medical Physics Expert to support the development of on-treatment imaging in Radiotherapy.
- Collaborate with our research active team to develop and implement advanced and specialist treatment techniques.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff to ensure the highest standards of scientific and technical expertise.
Requirements
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Scientist.
- Certificate of competence to be a MPE or ability to achieve registration within months of appointment.
- Experience and expertise commensurate with the level of the post.
