About the Role

Our community pharmacies play a vital part in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our customers and members. As a Relief Pharmacist, you will be an integral member of our wider Pharmacy team, working alongside our friendly and hardworking teams to provide fantastic pharmacy services to our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead your pharmacy team to ensure an efficient and friendly service, excelling in delivering a range of enhanced services
  • Check prescriptions for accuracy and safety, assist with dispensing medications, and advise patients on routes of administration and dosages
  • Support branch management; maintain records, track inventory, control stock levels, and secure controlled drugs to maintain compliance
About You

We are looking for a professional and driven pharmacist who has a genuine passion for healthcare and is keen to develop in their role and career. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in pharmacy (MPharm) and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Confidence in providing expert health advice and the full range of advanced and enhanced services
  • A professional and approachable manner to build and maintain dependable working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills, able to be a role model for your team in delivering face-to-face interactions to a high standard
  • Enthusiasm and drive to champion your own learning and development, and grow a continuous learning culture within your team to support their career growth
  • Experience of leading and developing a team, with drive and ambition to ensure your pharmacy meets its targets
