Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Moulding Technician to join our team at Casterton in Eastleigh, near Southampton. As an Injection Moulding Setter, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining injection moulding machines to meet production requirements.

About the Role:
This is a temporary/contract position with a strong likelihood of permanent conversion. You will work on a rolling 4-weekly shift pattern, covering both days (6am-6pm) and nights (6pm-6am), Monday to Sunday. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £18-22 per hour, depending on experience.

Main Responsibilities:
- Perform tool changes and set machine processes following best practices and safety procedures.
- Assist in trialing new tools to achieve optimal performance.
- Provide hands-on process support to ensure efficient tool changes and minimize machine downtime.
- Optimize setting conditions to reduce scrap and material waste.
- Complete necessary production records.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in an injection moulding environment.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools.
- Strong numeracy skills.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to thrive in a pressurised environment and meet deadlines.
- Hard-working attitude with flexibility to adapt to changes.
- A solid understanding of health & safety requirements.
