Job Opportunity: Geo-Environmental Engineer

This role involves managing ground investigation projects, including Coal Mining Risk Assessments (CMRA), and requires a qualified Geo-Environmental Engineer. The ideal candidate will have up to 5 years of experience in geo-environmental engineering or be a recent graduate in geological and earth sciences.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct ground investigation fieldwork such as trial pitting, window sampling, cable percussion, rotary drilling, etc.
  • Log soils and rocks according to British Standard and conduct geotechnical/geo-environmental sampling for laboratory testing.
  • Provide input into interpretive reports, depending on experience.
Essential Requirements
  • A full UK driving licence and own car.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in geotechnical, environmental (earth science) or civil engineering.
