About the Role

Binnies, a RSK Company, is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join the @One Alliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering technical direction to discipline engineers in your area.
  • Ensure all designs are fit for purpose and meet current legislation and standards.
  • Check and review electrical design deliverables produced by other electrical engineers.
  • Coach and mentor junior and less experienced members of the electrical team.
  • Collaborate with Principal Engineer, Portfolio Design Managers, and Project Design Managers.
  • Input into Construction Design management (CDM) and commissioning strategy meetings.
  • Manage quality through the design workflow review in line with the project timeline.

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have an engineering degree or equivalent experience. You will be comfortable demonstrating your knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and codes of practice. Experience of mentoring and coaching junior engineers is ideal.

You will use your leadership skills to inform others with sound judgment and the input of others. You will use your technical expertise to select the appropriate design methods, exercising independent judgment, and enhancing practices where necessary.
