Job Title: Early Years Family Practitioner

Quarriers Nursery in Ruchazie is a purpose-built facility, providing high-quality Early Learning and Childcare services for children from birth to three years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of an Early Years team to provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-3 years.
  • Ensure the wellbeing and education needs of children are met within an early years setting.
  • Plan and implement curricular activities to suit individual children's developmental needs and interests.
  • Record and track the learning journeys of a key group of children.
  • Deliver high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-3 years within the Scottish Government Early Years framework.
  • Scaffold the learning and development of children aged 0-3 years.
  • Encourage positive relationships between parents/carers and children.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development, including attendance.
  • Communicate with parents/carers regarding their child's developmental progress.
  • Participate in policy review and work in partnership with other agencies as required.
  • Ensure the nursery and resources are kept clean and in good working order.
