We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our care team as a Deputy Manager. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about providing high-quality care and support to young people.

As a Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our residents. You will work closely with the Registered Manager to develop and implement care plans, manage daily operations, and maintain high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Registered Manager in ensuring high-quality care and safeguarding for children.
  • Assist in the daily management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safety, and security.
  • Contribute to the Care Planning process by attending and preparing for children's conferences, reviews, and planning meetings.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of children's progress and development.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality regarding all duties and information encountered.
  • Participate in supervision sessions and appraisal processes.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a Level 3 NVQ in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent.
  • A qualification such as CQSW/DipSW/NVQ 4 in Care or Management is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have at least one year of management experience and two years in a children's residential setting or similar residential services.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Must possess a full UK driving licence.
