About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our team at Pertemps TM. As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of infrastructure projects, working closely with our experienced engineers and mentors to progress your career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Undertake design for infrastructure projects, including 3D surface modelling and hydraulic drainage design, utilizing software such as Civils 3D, CAD, and drainage design software.
  • Client Representation: Represent the company at client, contractor, and local authority meetings, ensuring effective communication and project coordination.
  • Highway Schemes: Knowledge of design and approvals for S278 and S38 highway schemes, with design capability when supervised by senior staff.
  • Drainage Schemes: Knowledge of design and approvals of S104, S106, and S185 drainage schemes, including awareness of current drainage legislation and sustainable drainage practice.
  • Flood Risk Assessments: Knowledge and awareness of the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of working with Civils 3D, AutoCAD, and drainage modelling software such as FLOW or Microdrainage.
