Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Senior to join our finance team at Reed. As an Accounts Payable Senior, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Assistant Accountants with the management of cost invoices for all care homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices and staff expenses efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely payment.
- Investigate and resolve issues associated with the processing of invoices and purchase orders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Perform routine supplier statement reconciliations to maintain accurate records, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
- Monitor and clear suspense accounts to ensure all transactions are accounted for, maintaining a clean and accurate financial ledger.
- Maintain vendor profiles and process checks, ensuring up-to-date information and compliance with financial regulations.
- Circulate remittance advices to suppliers and stakeholders, providing clear and concise communication.
- Handle all vendor correspondences, providing excellent customer service and resolving any enquiries or irregularities in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in an accounts payable role, with a strong understanding of the purchasing to payables process.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
