Salary: £11.58 per hour + additional pay for evening and weekend hours


Job Description:


We are seeking a professional Bank Care Assistant to join our team at Somers Brook Court estate in Newport, Isle of Wight.


Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality individual care to our residents, enabling them to live later life well.


You will provide housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, including apartment cleans.


Your duties will include supporting and encouraging our residents to participate in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.


You will also assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.


Required Skills and Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, you should possess a warm and friendly demeanor, ideally with some experience working in a care or support environment.


You must have a passion for making a positive impact on the wellbeing and happiness of older adults.


A QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification is desirable, but consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
