**Job Title:** Engineering Apprenticeship Training Specialist

**Location:** Kingston College, South Thames Colleges Group

We are looking for a highly skilled Lecturer/Tutor to teach in various areas of engineering including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Principles, and Engineering Mathematics. The ideal candidate will have the ability to teach practical maintenance classes and offer more than one specialism.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to FE and HE vocational Level 2/3 BTEC and T-Level programmes for full-time and apprenticeship students. This may also involve teaching HE Engineering up to level 5. We're seeking someone with experience in delivering training at Level 3 in an engineering environment or educational setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to support students' academic and personal development.
  • Develop and implement innovative curriculum materials and assessments.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the quality of our courses.

Requirements:

  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent) in an appropriate subject.
  • Experience of delivering training at Level 3 in an engineering environment or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of new technologies to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Good planning, preparation, organisational, and administrative skills.
  • Awareness of academic quality standards.

Salary:** £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
