We are seeking a highly skilled Apprentice Project Engineer to join our team at Curtiss-Wright Corporation. As a key member of our Fleet Solutions operations, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to be an industry leader in technology and engineering capability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate on project teams and provide technical guidance to ensure specific project requirements are met.
  • Plan, conduct, and may lead research, development, and/or installation of products and systems in conformance with engineering design and customer specifications.
  • Research, design, develop, and validate manufacturing processes, tools, and/or jigs for a high mix / low volume manufacturing facility.
  • Provide product and process training support to both internal and external personnel of technical and non-technical trades.
  • Create, verify, and release performance requirements for product and general engineering projects.
  • Maintain configuration management of products and process using current PDM, MRP, and/or ERP systems.
  • Monitor and manage assigned project schedules, tasks, and deliverables to ensure timely and budgeted completion.
  • Research, analyze, design, and develop processes and procedures in compliance with local, federal, and international environmental, health, and safety guidelines.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline such as, but not limited to: Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, and/or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience using common industry CAD tools such as, but not limited to: Solidworks, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools/programs.
  • Experience in Ship Repair and/or Technical Service Industry.
  • Experience using Oracle ERP system.
