Transportation Specialist

Job Summary
As a Driver at DSV, you will be responsible for handling and transporting cargo in a safe and efficient manner. You will work in accordance with the Drivers Handbook, Company Quality Procedures, and Statutory requirements to maximize the profit of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and transfer cargo onto the vehicle, storing and securing it in accordance with specified instructions or customer requirements.
- Ensure cargo is packed and arranged safely and securely to prevent damage.
- Unload cargo in a safe manner, adhering to customer requirements.
- Complete all required documents and paperwork in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
- Comply with all legislation and requirements for cargo types, particularly hazardous cargo.
- Communicate with the office or designated location as necessary, especially regarding delays or problems.
- Conduct vehicle checks to company and statutory requirements, reporting any faults to the supervisor or operator.
- Operate the vehicle in a legal, safe, responsible, and considerate manner, ensuring driver documents, including tachograph, are processed in accordance with company and statutory requirements.
- Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
- Operate within agreed operational procedures and statutory requirements, including maintaining a safe working environment.
