Job Description

Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join our team at Impact Food Group. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our Payroll Department, working closely with the Payroll Manager and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legislation and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll and pension payments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Manage payroll and pension administration, including starters, leavers, and ad-hoc tasks
  • Submit company pension on a monthly basis, compliant with relevant legislation and deadlines
  • Liaise with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure work is submitted and processed in a timely fashion
  • Perform general administration tasks, including reporting, P45s, and email communication
  • Assist with annual returns to HMRC and pension providers
  • Support payroll reconciliations with Finance

Requirements:

  • 1 year of payroll experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Knowledge of pension schemes (desirable)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive approach and ability to work independently
