About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in the North and Scotland region.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, preferably working on sites in the concrete, aggregate, asphalt, or sand and gravel sector. Alternatively, you may have in-depth experience delivering an operational engineering role within an industrial, heavy plant, or manufacturing sector.

The successful applicant will provide best-in-class electrical engineering and project management services to the operating business, innovating cost-effective solutions throughout the company.

The salary for this role is approximately £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience.

  • Appoint and approve electrical competent staff and support contractor companies for electrical work within Tarmac
  • Ensure projects are designed to achieve the lowest cost of ownership possible, through the whole life of the asset
  • Manage and ensure company electrical standards, site electrical maintenance schemes, and electrical procedures are compliant and adhere to all CRH and legislative requirements
