Key Responsibilities- Security Integrations: Manage security integrations across Esure, ensuring seamless integration of security tools and technologies.
- Incident Response: Support security initiatives, incident response, and resolution across esure, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.
- IT Operations: Assist in maintaining and supporting IT operations, business-as-usual activities, and ongoing projects, ensuring smooth operation of our IT systems.
- Agile Environment: Contribute within an Agile environment, using tools like Jira and Jira Service Management, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
- Network Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including run books and diagrams, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
- Network Monitoring: Monitor network infrastructure and cloud environments (PRTG, SNMP, Prometheus) to ensure robust security operations and identify potential security threats.
- Automation: Improve automation through scripting and infrastructure management using AWS, Azure, OCI, Python, and Terraform, to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Scripting: Write and maintain scripts in Python, Bash, and other languages to integrate and optimize security tools, ensuring seamless integration and effective security operations.
- Business Continuity: Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts, ensuring minimal disruption to our business operations.
- Training and Education: Deliver training and education programs to raise information security awareness and promote standard processes across the organisation, ensuring a culture of security awareness.

- Cloud Networking: Ability to learn / upskill on cloud networking and cloud security technologies, with a basic understanding of cloud networking and cloud security.

- Security Experience: Basic understanding of security in an enterprise setting, with past experiences of security automation including roles like security engineering and security operations.
