English Teacher Leadership Role in Brent Secondary School

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced English teacher to join our team at a secondary school academy in Brent. As a 2ic English teacher, you will play a key role in supporting the English department and contributing to the school's mission to provide exceptional education.

**About the School:**
Our school is a mixed secondary academy based in the London borough of Brent, catering to students aged 11-18. With a strong focus on academic excellence, we offer a broad range of pathways, sporting academies, and inspiring student leaders.

**Responsibilities:**
As a 2ic English teacher, you will be responsible for teaching English from KS3 to KS5, including GCSE and A-level classes. You will also support the English department in planning and delivering curriculum, assessing student progress, and contributing to staff meetings and professional development.

**Requirements:**
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong teaching background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.
