Role Overview:

The School of Law and Social Science at London South Bank University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Assistant to support the Dean in their operational activities.

The successful candidate will work closely with Deans/Directors and Administrators to ensure the smooth running of the school's operations.

This is a great opportunity to work individually and within a team, building on your existing skills and gaining exposure to prominent stakeholders within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Heavy diary management
  • Student-focused events
  • Finance issues
  • Administrative support to academics

About You:

We are looking for a self-starter who is willing to take initiative and happy to get involved in a variety of tasks.

You will need to be able to deal with complex situations with tact, diplomacy, and discretion, and have a proven ability to maintain confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in a similar role supporting senior executives and managers
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Arrangements:

This is a permanent, full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

Your working week would be 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday, with some flexibility to work on-campus in busy periods.
