High-Voltage Test Engineer
We are seeking a High-Voltage Test Engineer to join our production team at CV-Library. This is a challenging opportunity to work with cutting-edge X-ray technologies and contribute to safeguarding critical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and testing X-ray tubes used in RTT scanning machines, including high-voltage testing and data recording. They will also assist with troubleshooting issues with X-ray tubes and testing equipment.
About the Job
We specialize in delivering advanced cargo and vehicle inspection systems for ports, military checkpoints, and high-security facilities. Our state-of-the-art X-ray technologies help combat threats like terrorism, drug smuggling, and illegal trade.
Responsibilities
- X-ray Tube Assembly and Testing: Assemble X-ray tubes, apply lead plates, and prepare them for testing.
- High-Voltage Testing: Perform high-voltage conditioning and testing on X-ray tubes.
- Data Recording: Keep accurate records of test results and equipment maintenance.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and fix issues with X-ray tubes and testing equipment.
Requirements
- Technical Experience: 3-4 years of experience in a technical or production environment.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow procedures and record data.
- Clean Room Experience: Background in working with vacuum systems or in a clean room environment.
- Equipment Operation: Experience with operating equipment like overhead cranes.
