Flexible Supply Work in Stafford

TeacherActive is seeking experienced cover supervisors for flexible supply work in secondary schools in the Stafford area.

What is Emergency Cover?

Schools will always try to pre-book cover staff, but unforeseen changes in staffing levels can occur quickly. On these occasions, schools will contact us for emergency cover, and we will call our registered supply staff to offer them work for that day.

Responsibilities
  • Supervising work set in accordance with the school's policy
  • Managing classroom behavior
  • Ensuring students complete pre-set work
  • Returning completed work to the appropriate teacher or staff member
  • Reporting on student behavior, if necessary
Benefits

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide educational references. All supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, ensuring the right level of tax and national insurance is paid.
