Join Our Team
We are seeking a highly skilled Test & Verification Engineer to join our team and contribute to our technical excellence. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Executing Test Plans: Prove the functionality, performance, and durability of our products using internal and external facilities.
- Additional Testing Activities: Carry out testing during the product lifecycle, ensuring seamless integration and validation.
- Test Case Development: Create and write test cases, utilizing new and standard test methods to meet project requirements.
- Test Setup and Operation: Supervise and instruct Test Technicians during test setup and operation, championing best practices and safety.
- Data Analysis: Review and sign-off test installations, carrying out data analysis and drawing conclusions from test data to produce engineering test reports.
- Supporting HSE Requirements: Develop SWIs and support risk assessments for functional test areas.
- Test Rig Maintenance: Ensure test rig maintenance and calibration activities are carried out in line with project, departmental, and company requirements.
- Test Rig Upgrades: Carry out test rig upgrades and assist with new rig build projects.
- Organizational Initiatives: Participate in activities to address organizational initiatives and engineering issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Relevant Education: A degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Testing Experience: Experience in testing motors, MCUs, battery systems, or similar.
- Data Analysis Skills: Ability to use MATLAB or NI tools to perform data analysis and create custom analysis scripts.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to demonstrate knowledge, reasoning, and problem-solving skills in engineering.
- Strong Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and judgment skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and advise on solutions in the area of testing.
- Flexibility: Flexible and open-minded to respond quickly to changes in project priorities.
- Desire for Growth: A flexible approach to work, with the desire to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Hands-on Approach: Ability to take on a hands-on approach in test setup and instrumentation/data acquisition.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel as required.
