Opportunity for a Junior Geophysicist

At Penguin Recruitment, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Geophysicist to join our team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate geophysicist looking to take the next step in their career in a well-established geophysical surveying company.

The selected candidate will be working on risk assessment, site safety, soil and core logging, site preparation, and project management. You'll be reporting to the Principal Geophysicist and mentoring other members of staff.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Relevant experience in the geology, archaeology, or geophysical field with good site work knowledge and capabilities
  • A degree in geology/civil engineering/geophysics/archaeology/geoscience or another relevant degree
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel for work purposes
  • Commutable to Leeds
  • A right to work in the UK
