Job Overview

Roc Search is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Offshore Shift Superintendent to oversee offshore operations and ensure the efficient and safe installation, inspection, and maintenance of inter array cables in offshore wind farms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and manage offshore shift teams, including technicians and contractors, ensuring all activities align with safety standards and project requirements.
  • Inter Array Cable Installation and Maintenance: Oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of inter array cables, ensuring all procedures are followed according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Enforce and adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a strong safety culture onboard.
  • Operational Efficiency: Monitor and optimize the performance of offshore operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality inspections of inter array cable installations and maintenance work, ensuring adherence to project standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore operations with a focus on inter array cable installation and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of inter array cable systems, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in overseeing diverse offshore teams.
