Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team in a rural office location. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing credit accounts, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank Statement Management: Prepare, log, allocate, and deal with queries related to bank statements.
- New Accounts: Record new accounts, request credit reports, and send acceptance letters.
- National Accounts: Allocate national accounts, process POD requests, and handle queries.
- Card Payment Requests: Support daily card payment requests from customers and depots.
- Account Management: Liaise with depots and credit control to take accounts off stop and request further payment.
- Account Referrals: Refer accounts of concern to the Group Credit Manager.
- System Updates: Update the AS400 system to ensure customer accounts are accurate.
- Depot Review Lists: Support the department in preparing depot review lists for the credit agency and checking online credit limits.
- Payment Processing: Manage and order depot and customer paying in books, and prepare and bank cheques received at head office.
- Invoice Management: Send copy invoices via email or post as required.
- Customer Setup: Set up customer accounts for emailed invoices with the IT department.
- Salesman Bonuses: Prepare salesman bonuses for approval.
- Storage/Insurance Letters: Send storage/insurance letters to depots as required.
- General Administration: Perform other general administration tasks as required, including supporting the department during busy and holiday periods.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in credit administration, a keen eye for detail, and excellent communication skills.
