Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Education Support Assistant to join our team at Bright Minds Creative Academy in Croydon. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of our students, aged 5-19, who face various challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students in their educational and social growth, providing individualized support to help them achieve a positive learning outcome.
  • Offer support inside and outside the classroom, enabling students to fully engage in a wide range of activities.
  • Help set up activities for students, utilizing technology or adjusting the environment to suit their needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, engage with students, provide learning support, and respond to situations in the classroom in a positive, non-disruptive manner.
  • Work one-to-one or two-to-one with some students, providing them with the time and support they need to learn.
