Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Computer Science teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. As a leading specialist recruitment agency, we are dedicated to connecting educational institutions with exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons to students at the primary/secondary level, developing and implementing curriculum materials and resources that align with national standards for Computer Science education.
  • Instructional Strategies: Utilize various teaching strategies and techniques to engage students and enhance their understanding of computer programming concepts.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support to promote their growth.
  • Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues in the Computer Science department to exchange ideas, share resources, and improve teaching practices, staying updated on the latest advancements in the field of Computer Science and integrating this knowledge into the curriculum.
  • Classroom Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, creativity, and critical thinking among students.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: Proven experience teaching Computer Science to primary/secondary students.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, familiarity with curriculum frameworks and national standards for Computer Science education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and strong organizational and time management skills.
