Year 1 Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher to join our team at an Outstanding primary school in Slough. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and creative curriculum to our students, promoting their academic and personal growth.

About the Role

This is a permanent position, commencing in January 2024. The successful candidate will have a strong academic record, QTS, and PGCE. We are looking for a creative and imaginative practitioner who is passionate about learning and able to communicate their enthusiasm to children and parents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to Year 1 students, promoting academic excellence and personal growth.
  • Develop and implement engaging and creative curriculum plans, incorporating topic-based learning.
  • Assess and track student progress, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies for support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop a supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed of student progress and achievements.
