Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with Kennametal as an Application Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating customer manufacturing needs and providing complete engineering solutions with associated costs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer manufacturing needs and provide engineering solutions
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Provide technical support to the sales team and other departments
  • Offer advice on fixturing and machining techniques
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or a time-served apprenticeship
  • Experience in the metal cutting or precision tooling industry
  • Understanding of programming 3 and 5 Axis CNC Turning and Milling machines
  • In-depth knowledge of the manufacturing industry and concepts associated with Kennametal Products
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
