Adept Resourcing is seeking an experienced Technical Buyer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and delivery terms to achieve optimal results.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels and movements.
  • Cost Control: Analyze and optimize procurement costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and implementing process improvements.
  • Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and logistics, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation skills, proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
