Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time Greek speaking Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a Care Professional, you will provide companionship and conversation to our clients, stimulating and encouraging them through various activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer companionship and conversation to clients
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
  • Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and shop for groceries
  • Assist with pet care and provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with continence care and assist with morning and evening routines

Essential Criteria

  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families
  • Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs, and a commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
  • Excellent timekeeping and organizational skills
  • Good hygiene practice and a smart appearance
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body
  • Class 1 business insurance or reliable transport
