Solus, a leading body repair group wholly owned by Aviva, is seeking an experienced Automotive Estimator to join their team in Aylesbury.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the automotive repair industry and be knowledgeable about computerized estimates using Audatex. They will be responsible for communicating with customers, compiling information, and completing supporting documentation.

Job Description:

  • Conduct detailed assessments of vehicle damage using computerized tools and software
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates to customers, including repair costs and completion times
  • Communicate effectively with customers, ensuring they are informed throughout the repair process
  • Compile all relevant information and complete supporting documentation, including repair plans and schedules
  • Monitor progress of the vehicle through the repair process, identifying any potential issues or delays

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in the automotive repair industry, preferably with knowledge of Audatex
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently, meeting deadlines and targets
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel to various locations
