About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

Our residential service, Deal, is a welcoming and friendly environment where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to teach new life skills, assist with personal care, encourage individuals to access their local communities, socialise, and engage in various activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, and traumatic backgrounds
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Encourage individuals to access their local communities and engage in social activities
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality service

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving license
  • Resilience, flexibility, and a composed approach
  • Experience working with individuals with autism, complex mental health needs, and traumatic backgrounds
  • Ability to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
