Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Quality Manager to join our client, a well-established engineering sub-contract organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the quality management system, reporting directly to the board. The role will involve managing the quality team, liaising with clients and customers on quality and compliance, analysing and reviewing customer performance, and leading on the development and enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assume responsibility for everything quality
  • Manage quality team
  • Main liaison between Client and customers on quality & compliance
  • Analyse and review customer performance
  • Lead on the development & enforcement of the quality management system ISO9001
  • Oversee audits both internal and external
  • Visit customer sites for meetings and reviews

Requirements:
  • Quality Management experience
  • Background within a Fabrication environment
  • Good engineering knowledge and training
  • Willingness to get involved in the nitty gritty as well as strategic aspects of the job
  • Excellent administration skills
