Strategic Growth and Partnerships Director

We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking leader to drive our exciting agenda forward. The role reports to our Corporate Director, Regeneration, Economy and Growth, and will be a key member of the senior management team of the directorate, helping us to deliver what our economy needs, delivering more and better jobs in an inclusive, green, economy.
The successful candidate will lead the management and development of an innovative, driven, modern and strategic service ensuring the delivery of the Council's Inclusive Economic Strategy, focusing on inward investment, skills, and support to businesses, which will enable growth, social value, and inclusion.
The role is externally facing, playing a key role in our devolution agenda and local partnerships. You will need imagination and people skills to lead your own and other teams through the development and promotion of our vision and the strategy.
We are looking for someone with the energy, enthusiasm, and skills to deliver the best possible outcomes for residents and communities.
