Job Title: Finance Operations Billing Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Operations Billing Supervisor to join our team in Newcastle. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for leading the Finance Operations Billing Team and ensuring the effective delivery of bill preparation, production, and support to the Revenue teams across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Finance Operations Billing Team and develop their skills through ongoing training, support, and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the onboarding and embedding of new team members and phases, and recruit new team members to support the rollout.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and implement changes to enhance team performance.
  • Collaborate with the London Revenue Team Managers to ensure the escalation of issues and related finance matters.
  • Manage team performance and behaviors effectively, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Support the Team Manager by taking on additional responsibilities when required.
  • Ensure work is delivered to the highest standard, measuring quality and minimizing the reissue of drafts/bills.
  • Support the revenue team in driving down lock-up for the business.

Requirements:

  • A team player with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Previous supervisory experience in a finance or business services environment.
  • Self-motivated and dedicated, with a flexible approach to working hours and a willingness to work outside core hours during busy periods.
  • Strong Microsoft Office application experience, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage change and support teams through future changes.
  • Good knowledge of HR policies and procedures that support people, performance, and behaviors.
