We are seeking a Medical Transport Specialist to join our team at EMED Group.
Our Medical Transport Specialists play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive timely and safe transportation to their medical appointments. This is a rewarding and challenging role that requires excellent communication skills, a calm and patient demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments, using a combination of driving skills and interpersonal communication
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during transportation
- Maintain a clean and safe vehicle, adhering to strict health and safety protocols
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless patient transfers and efficient use of resources
Requirements:
- A full UK driving licence and good driving record
- The ability to lift and move patients safely, if required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends
- A commitment to providing high-quality patient care
