Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our team in building the next-generation platform for clinical trials. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to scale the team and product, driving innovation and growth while making a tangible impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of up to 8 software engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and hands-on leadership
  • Develop and implement effective engineering processes, ensuring high-quality delivery and timely project execution
  • Collaborate with product management to define product roadmaps and resource allocation
  • Stay abreast of regulatory frameworks applicable to clinical trials and ensure compliance
  • Represent Lindus Health Engineering externally through talks, meetups, and blog posts
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a line manager of software engineers, with a proven track record of successful team leadership
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct reports
  • Strong product mindset, with a focus on delivering business value and understanding technical complexities
  • Able to occasionally perform non-critical hands-on coding to maintain technical acumen
  • Familiarity with regulated environments, such as health tech or fintech, is a significant plus
